Additional Reference Materials

    Tony Jadczak
Tony Jadczak is the State of Maine Bee Inspector.  Some people would call him the State Apiarist or Apiary Inspector.

  Tony Jadczak Picture
Tony inspects  the  hives   that are brought to Maine for pollinating a variety of crops. The blueberries are the largest Maine crop that requires pollination from honeybees.  Beekeepers from out of state bring their hives  to help pollinate the blueberries.  Orchard's, strawberries, raspberries, and cranberries are some other crops that require the honeybee services.  Tony also inspects hives throughout the State of Maine.  He lectures to people interested in honeybees, and he also teaches classes to beekeepers.
